The Society added two new publications to membership rewards in 2026: an annual magazine and a picture book for children. Each of these is also available for purchase directly from the printer, at a discount to the buyer but with a larger return to the Society, or from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, or your local bookseller.
This 60-page special publication of the Culver Historical Society celebrates the rich history of the Town of Culver, Culver Academies, and Lake Maxinkuckee with a special emphasis on the 250th birthday of America. Included are an almanac of significant historical events in the area, a guide to area historical monuments, a look back at 20 years of the Society’s replica lighthouse in the town park, a review of past community celebrations of historic milestones, historic area maps, reviews of past Society programs, a “kids’ corner,” and much more.
