“Survivors of the Titanic”: August 16, 2014
Jeff Kenney will be giving another one of his informative Power Points on how the Titanic disaster had roots in Culver. Culver was home to a survivor of the Titanic disaster and a man who lost his entire family. Come and listen to the interesting tales of how these two men’s lives were intertwined because of this horrible fate. It is a on Saturday, August 16, 2014. The event will be held at the Culver Public Library at 10:00 a.m.
“Unmask Preservation”: September 13, 2014
Join Kurt Garner as he “Unmasks Preservation.” Are you taking advantage of the history of your house? Do you know about exterior and interior easements? Join us at 4:00 p.m. for Wine and Cheese at the Historic Vonnegut Home located on the East Shore.
Annual Ice Cream Social: August 30, 2014
The Society will also be present at the “Gift of Warmth and L’Max Film Fest” at the Town Park serving root beer floats or ice cream and cake.
